A Letter From Our Partners
Feed Hope Drive
Florence-Darlington Technical College
May 2025
Dear Tonya,
Thank you for your generous contribution to the 2025 Feed Hope Drive. LJ Health Solutions donation of sanitary products will make a direct and meaningful difference in the life of a Florence-Darlington Technical College student.
According to federal data, one in four college students experience food insecurity, and FDTC students face unique challenges with six campuses across three counties and no cafeterias at any location. When you donated those items, you joined a community of 40+ business partners and countless individual supporters who recognize that student success is regional success. At our September 9th celebration at FDTC, we witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of collective generosity.
✦ Student families shouldn't have to choose between personal care items and their next meal. Dignity and basic needs go hand in hand, and your donation helps ensure students can maintain both their health and their self-respect while pursuing their education. ✦
What began five years ago as a student-led "Thanksgiving Box of Blessings" has grown into year-round support that goes far beyond the holidays. The packages are consistently taken by 11 AM each day, demonstrating just how critical your support truly is.
Your generosity is an investment in our community's future, and we're deeply grateful for your support.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Feed Hope Drive Coordinators
